This lovely tabletop sculpture sparkles when light transmits through the glass. The piece is created using transparent glass strips in various shades of aqua and peacock blue. Once the strips are cut and arranged, the glass is fired in a kiln to 1390 degrees. This is hot enough to melt the pieces together, but cool enough to retain texture on the surface of the glass..
The stand is made to order by a metal artist in Maryland and is available in black, black hammer tone or silver.
The dimensions are 15" H, 13" W, 4" D.
